I thought about Phyllis, Sandy and Joyce again yesterday. I came across something that Sandy’s husband, Doug, had given me about being an advocate for diabetes. I hadn’t even been diagnosed with diabetes at the time Doug gave me the pamphlet. I have joined the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in support through sending letters to our senators and congressmen.

I wish that Sandy, Phyllis and Joyce had been able to receive better Mesothelioma treatment to have lived longer. There is still has no cure for Mesothelioma after all this time since they died. It is a shame they all had to die with such a serious cancer.
