Today the weather is bright and sunny, just beautiful. I felt shutter bug happy with my camera. After being around Betty’s granddaughter, Jody, this morning and she had her camera; I felt her enthusiasm about taking pictures of a small finch, a male cardinal and other birds that were coming to the birdfeeders. I love the pictures that Jody takes they are clear and concise. She owns a Kodak 8 MP camera with a larger display screen than my 3.1 MP has. My youngest daughter owns a Sony 8.2 MP. There is definitely a difference in the clarity between the mega pixels.

I do own a Kodak 5.0 MP however due to the battery cost for that one, it is not worth operating it. If a camera has the ability to use rechargeable batteries, that is the most cost efficient to use.

One day, I will buy the camera I have wanting for wonderful close up shots of nature. What is your favorite camera and why?

I love the pictures! I have had a Kodak for about 8 years. The first one finally stopped working right and I replaced it with the same kind, just a newer version. It takes good pictures. It does have a rechargeable battery (two so I can charge one while using the other) and those have a surprisingly long battery life. Sometimes the camera sits for months without being used and then I want to take a picture and it still works (for a few pictures!). My problem is that my software to get the photos from the camera to the computer is on my desk top computer, and not on any of my laptops. I was thinking yesterday that I need to do something about that!

Thanks so much. We are having another lovely Saturday. Rain predicted for the next 4 days. I need to take some more pictures while the weather is so nice.

That would be great if you can download your pictures to your laptop, especially when you are traveling too.
