Shortly after I started my Michael Thurmond’s 6 weeks Body Makeover Program, I had to go to my Mom’s due to her deteriorating health conditions. I was just getting the hang on his eating program for body type and the specific exercises I needed to do twice a day. I did get a lot of walking in looking for grave markers of my grandparents and aunt and uncle, so my Mom could put flowers on them. The Mississippi Delta heat is almost unbearable this time of the year. I did make sure I drank plenty of water and Gatorade Zero. Though Gatorade Zero is not on the MT plan, I felt it was necessary to keep myself hydrated from perspiring so much.

I have been trying to get back on the plan since my return. It seems like there is always an obstacle preventing me from starting over my diet. I am persistent in my thoughts I will get started again and stick with the plan. I know the MT plan was starting to work on me. I was losing weight and the exercises were not hard on my body and showing results.

Tomorrow I will seat down and write out a menu planning for my 6 small meals for each day. I want more recipes for various ways to cook chicken, turkey and fish that are required for my body type to lose weight.

I want my diabetes to get back under control. This diet or lifestyle change was helping my blood sugar level to get more balanced. I know the importance of getting it more balanced to ensure getting my body back healthy.
