Today, I spent time with my daughter and her fiance. Since they both have to work tomorrow, they were delivering Mother’s Day presents to me, Cody’s mom and the grandmothers. She gave me a lovely cards and two potted petunias. It was very sweet of her to think of me that way.
This afternoon, I went to see a friend of mine, Garnet. She just moved into her brand new apartment. The building was just completed last month. The building is gorgeous. The architect that drew up that building should get an award. Anyway, I really enjoyed meeting another friend of Garnet that I have heard Garnet speak about for 3 years, Lorraina. We have a good time talking and laughing together that we talked past my dinner time.
I explained I had to leave and get home to take my shot and medications. I knew my blood sugar was dropping and I needed to get something to eat as soon as I got home. I did drink a small glass of juice after testing my blood sugar. It was 64. I put a small personal size pizza in the oven to cook. Within 10 minutes, I had my dinner cooked. I don’t like my blood sugar dropping so low.
I have noticed the increase in headaches lately, not sure if it is my diabetes or spring seasonal allergies. Dandelions are growing every where. Today, it seemed everyone was mowing yards since we have had a lot of rain lately and due to get 6 days of rain over this next week starting tomorrow. So the dandelions pollen was flying all over in the air. So I am not sure which is causing my headaches.
