The promenade of my daughter’s high school prom was very interesting how the procession was done. Some of the students walked up instead of driving a vehicle to the front of the school. Some students arrived in many different types of vehicles. I saw a vintage Rolls Royce, a Hearst with a reminder of Don’t Drink and Drive, Hummers, Hummer and Cadillac Stretch Limos, motorcycles, 4 wheels ATV, pickup trucks pulling boats to horse trailers, vintage Jeep Willy, vintage Ford Mustangs to the latest made Mustang. I pointed out to my youngest daughter’s dad some of the kids we have known since moving here and past boys our daughter has dated. He was having a hard time believing some of these young men were who they were till he heard the announcement of the student’s names. The tuxedos and gowns that were worn were gorgeous, with the exception of a few girls’ dress that were looked like they were poured into them and were very short up to their rears.

I am glad we went to watch the Promenade. Cody’s mom and Grandmother enjoyed the event too. The weather could not have been more perfect outside. It was suppose to rain but it didn’t. Thank God for that.
