These lovely
Alfred Meakin Pattern
MEA28 one Bread and Butter/Dessert plate and two saucers. The pattern
is a gold filigree with scroll of leaves on maroon / burgundy band and
gold fleur-de-lis on inside of rim. Has gold trim on outer rim and is
Ivory White plate. On back of plates has painter's mark.
The Bread and Butter / Dessert Plate is 7 3/4" across. The saucers are
6 3/8" across. Defects: Saucer has a 1/4" stain on bottom in
middle. Fleur-de-lis has some worn gold. Bread and Butter /
Dessert Plate has Fleur-de-lis with some worn gold and light utensil
marks. These plates are in Very Good Condition for their
age.
